Set amidst 500 acres of rolling green hills in Sussex County horse country, Natirar is one of those places that gave New Jersey its “Garden State” moniker. Once the playground of oil barons and Moroccan kings, the stately Tudor-style mansion and grounds were the backdrop for Abigail and David’s classically elegant wedding – photos and footage of which we’re happy to report comprised our most-viewed-ever Instagram posts!

Abby was gorgeous, dressed in a lacy, long-sleeved Vera Wang dress and veil whose beauty was matched only by the bride’s brilliant smile, which really did seem to light up everything—and everyone—around her.

Tears of joy were a serious theme of the day, beginning with David’s first look at Abby on the mansion’s rolling lawn and reappearing on numerous cheeks among the many generations gathered to celebrate the couple’s life together. (On a side note, we were so glad that Abby was able to take a pre-ceremony stroll with David thanks to an awesome pair of bright-white sneakers beneath her flowing gown that were switched out at the last moment for elegant heels.)

The outdoor ceremony took advantage of Natirar’s expansive lawn with a white aisle that seemed to go on forever—especially to the littlest ringbearer, who took some coaxing from mom and dad and two lollipops, all of which was waiting for him by the chuppa. You could feel the excitement mount as the bride and her parents peered onto the scene excitedly from inside the mansion’s multipaned windows, music swelling to a dramatic crescendo. Seeing Abby walking down the aisle between her beaming parents toward David, it wasn’t hard to see where she got that smile from. Just as the soft light of magic hour cast its golden kindness on the joyous proceedings, two families became one.

A tent fit for Gatsby greeted the newly married couple and their guests, who sat down to the most elegant table services complete with delicate arrangements of white and pink flowers and bespoke embroidered napkins emblazoned with a “P” for the couple’s last name, Peyser. But don’t let all the elegance fool you. These Peysers knew how to throw down a party complete with serious dancing, hilarious weddings shticks and a blazing Borsalino for an impromptu marshmallow roast. As late night turned to early morning and a hush fell on Natirar’s grounds, the bride and groom and their friends partied on with a silent disco whose light-up earphones provided each dancer with individual access to the DJ’s smoking set.
