One fateful evening at a New York City nightclub, Morgan and Trevor were brought together by a common connection – Morgan’s sister. As Trevor recalls, Morgan had just split up with her boyfriend and claims he was a rebound. “I think I was revenge to him,” he ponders. “Oh well, it was my lucky day meeting her!” Clearly not all too concerned, Trevor – who didn’t live in NYC at the time – saw Morgan the next time he was in the city. “He was so obsessed with me that the next time he was in New York, he took me to dinner ten nights in a row,” says Morgan. “I thought, wow – this is my twin, we think the same, but she is way cooler, dresses better, and is really cute,” Trevor recalls about his first dates with Morgan. “I like her.” Rebound or not, it worked out – and the rest, as they say, is history.

Q1

What was the first wedding planning decision you made?

Morgan: The Venue! We booked the Pierre the day we got engaged! I always wanted to get married there.

Trevor: For me, to just say ‘yes’!

Q2

What was on your wedding day wish list?

Morgan: To have the best day ever! Dance with my husband and family all night. Just have fun!

Trevor: Just a few minutes, where Morgan and I can just take it all in, just Morgan and I.

Q3

What part of planning did you enjoy most?

Morgan: I literally loved every single ounce of wedding planning, I loved the entire process. If I had to pick one thing it was the decor, I just loved all the flowers! I was blown away the first time I saw the room.

Trevor: I loved the food. The lamb chops were incredible! I also loved just the top notch service the Pierre provides. It was truly an experience beyond imagination.

Seeing Trevor for the first time on our wedding day was the most amazing feeling in the world!

Morgan

I couldn't wait to meet him under the chuppah, it was the most surreal feeling. It felt like a dream.

Morgan

Nothing made me happier to kiss my wife and hear 'Mazel Tov.'

Trevor

Q4

Did you learn anything about yourselves or each other while planning your day?

Morgan: We were really on the same page for everything. We both wanted the same things for our wedding day.

Trevor: Nothing I didn’t already know. I knew what I was signing up for!

Q5

What are the memories of each other on your day that stand out most?

Morgan: Seeing Trevor for the first time on our wedding day was the most amazing feeling in the world! I could not wait to see him, I had been waiting all day! Also, I couldn’t wait to meet him under the chuppah, it was the most surreal feeling. It felt like a dream.

Trevor: I loved standing under the Chuppah with my wife. It really did feel like it was just her and I and our parents and family. I laughed when I tried to kiss her, and it was an accident. I didn’t know! I’m not Jewish. I didn’t know how it worked. But I was glad to crush the glass. I was nervous I would miss it with my foot. I thought to myself, “Would I miss it because I’m not Jewish?” Sure enough I hit it dead on. It even hurt my foot a little I slammed it down so hard. Nothing made me happier to kiss my wife and hear “Mazel Tov.”

Q6

If you could only keep one memento from your wedding, what would it be? Why?

Morgan: The chuppah, it was so beautiful I want to keep it forever and put it in my backyard!

Trevor: The 1942 cufflinks and the dance floor. That dance floor was SICK!

I just loved all the flowers! I was blown away the first time I saw the room.

Morgan

It was truly an experience beyond imagination.

Trevor

Q7

Would you do anything differently?

Morgan: Not one thing. Everything was absolutely perfect! I wish we could make the entire day last longer, even though I know that’s not possible.

Trevor: Not a thing. It was amazing.

Q8

What is the best relationship advice you’ve ever received?

Morgan: Never go to sleep angry.

Trevor: What’s mine is hers and what’s hers is hers.

Q9

What advice would you offer to a newly engaged couple?

Morgan: This is about to be the best year of your life, take it all in and enjoy every single second! It goes by way too fast.

Trevor: Sacrifice. You will very quickly learn it’s not all about you, and you need to make a concerted effort to sacrifice to make it work.

Everything was absolutely perfect! I wish we could make the entire day last longer...
